Christian plays create "an evening at the theater,"
hosted by your drama ministry.

A vibrant theater outreach program serves as a magnet to attract your community to your church campus, where they will (hopefully) return to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. These full-length plays range in topics from Christmas plays (that can be done with or without music), to sexual abstinence programs for youth, to children's outreach in the public schools, as well as hilarious comedies to be enjoyed in a dinner theater setting.

All of these plays portray God's love and God's presence in the life of the believer, as well as build healthy relationships, encourage spiritual growth, and challenge your congregation to evangelism. Two other categories of full-length plays also appear here under "Christian Plays": First, the ever-popular Christmas Madrigal Dinner Theater, which is a 16th century Old English Christmas feast, with a classic Medieval play interwoven among the courses of the meal; and second, the Skits On A Theme, which combine several short skits with a narrative that ties them all together to make one thematic statement.

In this category also resides one of Cora's most powerful full-length plays, "God, Look!" This is a one-hour "dream play" written to answer the question, "What is it that pleases God the most?" It speaks to every person's search for significance. It follows the adventures of a new Christian, "Lost," who becomes "Found," then learns from her "Teacher" the importance of helping one "Lost" person at a time become "Found."

..........Cora has also written an
..........Easter Passion Play.

....God's Masterpiece
."A portrait of the life that changed humanity"

We've created a separate website for this stirring journey through the life of Christ. The play is excellent for community outreach or family ministry.

This captivating musical drama introduces five original songs by the accomplished writer, composer, and arranger, Keith Ward. In addition to the sweeping grandeur of his original music, Keith reintroduces four familiar hymns of the church with fresh arrangements that usher the audience into a time of personal, emotional connection with the timeless story of the passion of Jesus Christ.

This awe-inspiring production gives the audience time to think, time to feel, and time to react emotionally to the phenomenal miracle of God becoming man, then dying to redeem humanity, His greatest treasure.

A Bird's Eye ViewThis Christian play explains the reasons behind God's mandate for sexual abstinence until marriage, and celebrates God's forgiveness of those who repent and turn away from sexual sin. It sets up a sermon on God's plan for sex, as it tells a compelling story through acting, music, and mime.
Discussion Activities For 'A Bird's Eye View'These discussion activities are designed to create an environment in which your audience personally explores the message of "A Bird's Eye View." Filled with enjoyable small group interaction, and moments of private contemplation, these activities challenge your audience to commit themselves to sexual purity before marriage. Use these discussion activities to deepen the relationships between your ministry leaders and your youth or single adults, and increase your ministry's effectiveness in disci
God, Look! This "dream play" speaks to every person's search for significance. It follows the adventures of a new Christian, "Lost" who becomes "Found," then learns from her "Teacher," the importance of helping one "Lost" person at a time, to become "Found." She stands in awe at the simplicity of God's high call to obedience and evangelism.
Cindy and the Godfather"Cindy" chooses the authentic love of "Prince Alarming" over the superficial attention of his twin, "Prince Charming" in this delightful Christian play that retells the story of Cinderella, with a Christian twist. Her authentic love is a testimony to one of the stepsisters, who opens her heart to God as well.
The Heart of GodThis "dream play" explains the reason for God becoming man in the form of Jesus Christ: to speak His truth to us Himself, and to take the punishment that was intended for us so that we may have fellowship with Him in eternity. In the simple story of a heart-broken little girl, searching for her lost hamsters, we see the "Heart of God."
A Heartfelt ChristmasIn this simple story of a heart-broken little girl, searching for her lost hamsters, we see the "heart" of God who came to earth in a manger to rescue His beloved people. This play is a "storyline" only. It provides a context into which any number of Christmas songs will fit. Create an unforgettable family holiday memory that looks at the why behind Christmas.
Growing Ups and DownsThis surrealistic "dream play" creates a visual picture of "growing up," in a child's mind, by connecting good choices to stepping up the ladder and bad choices to sliding down it. It is an excellent tool to show children the results of their choices and makes a wonderful outreach into the public schools for youth groups.
Christmas Madrigal Dinner Theater Preview DVDThis DVD gives you a brief tour of a "Christmas Madrigal Dinner Theater" event with all the trimmings; as well as a look at scenes from all four of the script selections: "Everyman," "Cyrano," "The Wife of Bath," and "The Second Shepherd's Play."
Everyman"Everyman" centers around the inevitable foe, Death, who comes for Everyman (the Jester). After all his companions forsake him, he stands with Jesus, to face eternity.
Cyrano"Cyrano" is the story of unrequited love. Cyrano de Bergerac writes the words for the gallant young Christian who has stolen Roxanne's heart. Will Roxanne chose Cyrano or Christian? The answer is in the poetry of the play.
The Wife of Bath's TaleThe "Wife of Bath's Tale" is a classic among The Canterbury Tales. In her tale, a knight betrays a maiden, and his punishment is rather odd: he must discover what it is that women want most, and if any maiden on the court disagrees, then, "off with his head!" Will he be saved? Watch and see.
The Second Shepherd's PlayThe Second Shepherd's Play is the story of four shepherds who find that their comrade, Mak, is a sheep thief. They catch him in the act and are about to hang him, when suddenly the sky fills with angels who announce the birth of the Prince of Peace. How can they hang him now! Will they?
The Last TrumpetThese four "Collected Skits" on the theme of being ready for Christ's "second coming," demonstrate the urgency of being ready to meet Jesus at any time, either because our life on earth ends, or because we hear His "Last Trumpet." Excellent for a sermon on "end-times" prophesy.
The Four Loves That Shape Our LivesThese four skits are on the theme of "The Four Loves That Shape Our Lives": "Eros," that ignites our passions; "Phileo," that urges us to develop like-minded loyalties; "Storge," that cements our family relationships, and God's "Agape" love, that provides the "light and salt" attitudes and behaviors which keep our three earthly relationships from spoiling.
Signs From GodThese four "Collected Skits" are on the theme of fruitful Christian living: stewardship, holiness, love, and hope. Together, these skits combine to show four areas of life that God intends to govern, as well as, bless when we submit and obey His commands. This is excellent for a sermon on the Christian life.
Leadership MattersThese three "Collected Skits" model godly leadership by contrasting "power" and "authority" as leadership styles, celebrating people with diverse abilities to accomplish a task, and presenting God as the ultimate visionary in any project. Excellent for a sermon on biblical leadership.
The Parable TrailThis collection of four "Fractured Parables" presents Jesus' themes of mercy, forgiveness, and stewardship in "The Unmerciful Servant,” “The Prodigal Son,” “The Talents,” and “The Sower." Five detectives: Bond,” “Holmes,” “Watson,” “Colombo,” and “Sergeant Friday” search for Jesus, "The Teacher."
