These monologues visit three examples of fear in the "valley of the shadow of death." The first is the death of the body: a physical illness; the second, is the death of financial well-being: a man gets laid off; the third, is the death of a relationship. In each instance, the point is made that God is the "Good Shepherd" in these valleys, and we must trust Him, not turn from Him.
