All I need is love!

Our self-concept in Christ is the topic of this skit. Grace, a slightly overweight young mother, compares herself to the ideal wife of Proverbs 31 as she tries to keep a tidy house and please her husband. She falls short of the ideal daughter-in-law and mother-in-law relationship as well. Sally gives her jeans, which are too small; Nancy wants to shop, but poor Grace has neither the time nor the money for such things. Finally, Grace collapses, unable to please anyone, least of all herself. This skit is excellent for a sermon on our self-concept as children of the King, and encourages a healthy relationship with God, from whom we derive our real identity. It identifies the spiritual warfare we engage in with Satan when we allow worldly values to rob us of our joy in the Lord.
